Winner and moving Juliet

Meanwhile Juliet moved to her new home. She is doing great there and we wish her a brigth and happy future. On december 10 the Winnershow was organised in Amsterdam. Amber was entered and also her sister Tara was present. The Winner is the biggest show in the Netherlands and the classes and competition was big. However we are satisfied about both ladies Tara became 6th and Amber 5th. Further we wish everybody cozy holidays and a nice New Year!

Juliet her developed is going fast! She adores to play outside and is almost clean! Further she likes playing in the ballpit, the bottle pit and the tunnel. She enjoys everything. Ath 6 weeks she went to the vet, everything is fine and she even fell asleep on the table during making her pasport. We also made some funny pictrues. She is almost ready for her new life with her new owners.

Juliet grows and grows

Juliet is doing very well! Meanwhile she growed a lot and developed her self well. When she was 3 weeks we started with solid food (fresh meat). Now she eats soaked chunks and drinks with Joelle as soon as she gets the chance. Joelle is fine with this (neatherless the teeth) but we notices of course the milkproduction is becoming less. Juliet enjoys walking in the livingroom. She likes playing with her big sister Yasmin (14 months) and auntie Amber (9 months) which, however she sometimes needs a little reminder, is astonishing soft and sweet handling her. Also the other dogs come and take a look regular because the welpingbox is opened almost the whole day so Juliet can decide by herself is she sleeps their or is playing in the livingroom.

Goodbye little Romeo

Till our great sadness Romeo has left us and his Juliet. Despite the many hard work he didn't made it and past away on sunday October 23. We are very sad because of this loss and also Joelle has a hard time but for now she accepted it and gives all her motherlove to Juliet. Juliet grows very well and is really taken care well by Joelle. However Juliet is besides drinking still sleeps very much Joelle is the happiest close beside her. Meanwhile Juliet is 2 weeks today and she started trying to walk, still very wobbly. Also her eyes are open for a couple days now.

Joelle is again a perfect mother! She almost wants out of the welpingbox, cleans them well and takes care for enough milk. Romeo has a difficult start but we are doing our outmost best to get him as strong as Juliet.

After a heavy delivery of our girl Joelle the puppies are born today! We like to introduce you to: Romeo and Juliet! A beautiful male and female are now sleeping and drinking with Joelle. Joelle is luckely already settled down from the delivery and enjoys her puppies much. They are already have had a good inspection and cleaning by their sweet mommy.

Last days of the pregnancy

The last days of the pregnancy are started! We hope that everything will went well and are looking forward to the puppies! Joelle is ready, as soon as their is a sort of puppynoice on the phone or tv she runs to the welpingbox. Her belly growed a little further but we know their will not be born much puppies, as long as they are healthy and everything is well with Joelle we are happy.

Joelle enjoys the extra food and grows slowly. She also likes to take her rest in the welpingbox and you find her regular sleeping there.

Joelle x Hero Today we went to the clinic with our girl Joelle for an ultrasound. With much pride we can inform you that Joelle is expecting puppies half October! This time we choose our own Hero (Social Giant Big Happy Monster) as a stud because we think they are a good combination in size, exterior and they have both sweet characters. Elsa joins family van Asseldonk

Saying good bye to Elsa. Unfortunately Elsa had some trouble with the bustle in our home and she clearly preferred a place for her own. Because we don’t like to separate our dogs we chose to find her another home. In our eyes the interest of Elsa is more important than using her for breeding and therefore we decided with sadness that’s this is better for her. Luckily we found a very good place for her where she gets lots of attention and space with the family van Asseldonk. We wish them much luck with this sweet, active lady and happily we keep good informed with pictures etc.

Belgium Bullmastiff Clubmatch

Yesterday the Belgium Bullmastiff Clubmatch was organised, a cosy show which we also couldn’t miss this year. We brought and entered Snowy and Amber. Snowy did very well, got an excellent but unfortunately wasn’t placed. Amber participated in a reasonable big puppy class but became 1th with a very promising! We are very proud on both ladies!

Obedience examination

This week 3 of our ladies had their obedience examination. Amber is passed her puppy class and Yasmin and Elsa got a nice score for their examination Base 1 and therefore are also both passed! All ladies enjoy doing it and therefore we are proud on how they pass and closed the class.

Social Giant day

June 26, 2016

We had a very great day! Today we organised our Social Giant game day for all puppy’s out of our kennel. It was very nice to see them! The games were also played with full enthusiasm, the behavior therapist of KA Waalwijk had given some Handy tips, there are bought new dog snacks in the shop of Weka-diervoeders and also the photo shoot of Weronika Lemke Photography was successful! We want to thank all of the people for coming, there cosiness and smiles which made this day unforgettable! You can find all pictures on the Social Giant Days menu-item.

Show in Uden

Yesterday and today there was a show in Uden. Joelle was entered for both days. She won the open class on both days with an excellent. Yesterday we also entered Geni. He enjoyed it very much and became 3th with an excellent. Today we brought Hero and he became also 3th in the open class with an excellent.

Bullmastiff Vereniging Nederland

June 12, 2016

We went to the family day of the Bullmastiff Vereniging Nederland. Besides a nice barbecue we also entered for a litter-judging with the litters Latin Spells (Joelle X Mojo, born September 6, 2015) and the litter Bob Marley (Snowy X Roy, born February 4, 2016). Both got a nice judging report. It was very nice to see some puppies again and also a cosy day.

Show in Hulten

June 05, 2016

Today there was a dog show in Hulten which we entered. It was Amber her First show and she did really good! She became 1th with a very promising in the baby class and became also Best Baby Bullmastiff. Also Joelle did great despite of the warm weather. She became 1th in the open class and got the CACIB and res CAC. Yasmin was just with us for fun and the ladies also played in the little pools which where there. Overall it was a nice day.

New home for Tara

May 20, 2016

At this time Tara (female with the blue collar) has also left to her new owners. It is always hard to see them leave but they all found a good new home. On May 7 we went to Animal Event. It was very nice to be there and see all activities and to go into the water with our girls (Amber, Tara and Yasmin) in this warm weather.

This weekend the males have left to their new home. The both ladies are staying with us. The female with the blue collar because she will move to Belgium, luckily the owners are often come over for a visit so we already made a family picture and they can bond to each other. The female with the silver collar stays forever and will live with us and we would like to introduce you to Amber! The last pictures are added to the litter-page.

Today the puppies are already 6 weeks old, time flies! And what a big difference, 6 weeks ago the only thing they did was sleeping and drinking by mommy Snowy. These days there are playing a lot, with each other but also with our other dogs, with or without toys, inside and outside. They are eating and drinking by themselves (however they like to steal a little extra milk by Snowy sometimes), they bark and peep when they want out of the welpingbox and they discover new things without many tension. Today they all have been chipped and Dna is taken by the Raad van Beheer. The vaccinations (what only is possible after chipping) are also scheduled. Because of the chipping the names are matched to the puppies. We had chosen for the theme 'Bob Marley' and the names can be found on the litter-page. Of course we placed also lots of new pictures. Further we would like to thank everybody for their kind words after the loss of our sweet Pam, we will miss her forever.

With the puppies all goes well. They are walking regular and certainly very freely in our living room between our other dogs and both parties are enjoying of this. We have placed many new pictures and a new movie on the litter-page.

Again it's confirmed that happiness and sadness are close together. While we enjoy our puppies we have still unexpectedly lost our sweet lady Pam. A couple weeks ago we heard that Pam has lymphoma. It was early staged and with a small dose of medication she still was her happy self. However we knew that there will be a time we had to say goodbye, certainly at a age of almost 10 years, everything went very fast when she got an internal bleeding last monday morning. Within a couple minutes of hugging, kisses and thanking for everything she went to heaven. For people who knew us it's not necessary to say how much Pam meant for us. Besides the love she gave us she taught us a lot and gave us beautiful puppies. Our world was and is standing still. We miss her very much. With pain in our heart we moved Pam her page to the In memoriam section.

The puppies are making enormous changes now. They are 3,5 week old and after some days of meat they are eating soaked chunks. Besides that they also are drinking regular by Snowy. Snowy likes to wash them after a meal and is doing this faithfully after each meal. Also between meals she is inspecting them for a wash and a drink. They have also already been twice in the living room and we will continue doing this. However they stay on their trusted spot with Snowy they are starting to discover more and more. Also the other dogs can sniff them as long as they stay quiet, if not you notice it immediately on Snowy which of course is logical at this age. They also are starting to play a bit, with each other but also with toys. It is very great to see them discover everything. We have placed lots of new pictures on the litter-page!

Puppies and Waalwijk show

Meanwhile the puppies are already 2 weeks young. They have had their first deworming and growing well. They already walk around a bit and however they took their time the eyes are open now. Snowy is taking very well care for her puppies but she is also taking a break sometimes to sleep without them. She prefers to take this break on her side of the welpingbox so she still can see them.

Further there was a show on Sunday February 14 of Kv Waalwijk which we participate every year. Also this year Rogier went to it with Yasmin and Geni. Also Bono (Social Giant Legenda Aurea - brother of Yasmin) and Barry (Social Giant Booster) where there. Besides it was a very cosy day we had also some nice results! Yasmin became 1th with a Very Promising and became Best female Baby. Her brother Bono became also 1th with a Very Promising and won the competition for Best Bullmastiff Baby from Yasmin. Therefore he was expected in the ring of honour but he wasn't placed, it was a very long day and he wasn't in the mood for it which we totally understand with this young age. Than Barry had to show and he became also 1th but with a Very Good! At last Geni was entering the ring and besides becoming 1th with an excellent in his class he also became Best Male and Best of Breed and therefore he needed also to come back in the ring of honour. There he became 8th in the Group! We are very proud on all results of all our dogs!

Puppies update

Today the puppies of Snowy and Roy were born! In total there were 7 puppies born but unfortunately 2 puppies were stillborn. We find it very sad that these puppies didn't get a change but that's the hard reality of mother nature. At this moment Snowy is enjoying of her 3 males and 2 females! It was a heavy/ long delivery which ended with a c-section and thereby Snowy slept most of the first day. Meanwhile she is actively taking care of her puppies and they are served milk with every sound they make and they have had a full wash. We hope everything will go well and that Snowy and her puppies will have a wonderful time. Pictures of our beauties can be found at the litter-page. Our Hero not only became a proud big brother this week (Hero is a son of Snowy her previous litter) but we received his official outcome of his x-rays. With pride we can announce that Social Giant Big Happy Monster aka Hero has an official outcome with HD A and ED 0! Because these results can’t be better it's unnecessary to tell how happy we are with this outcome.

The countdown is started still a couple weeks to go before we hope to welcome the puppies of Snowy. However being pregnant becomes harder because of her big belly Snowy is still very cheerful. She mostly is hungry (she cannot get enough food) but she also often goes resting in the welpingbox. New pictures of Snowy are placed on the litter-page.

Celebrating old and new year Celebrating old and new year went very well for us, our dogs like the fireworks and have been looking outside. It was very nice to see. Further we have more good news! We made an ultrasound of Snowy and her pregnancy is confirmed! In the first half of February we are expecting, if everything goes well, a nice litter of puppies from our girl Snowy and Roy.
